Here I am digging a trench into which the two reinforced concrete culverts will sit. The purpose of the trench is to prevent the culverts from roling down the hill. This would probably have been late February 2009 or early March 2009. I hit a hell of a lot of rock which I had to break up with electric jackhammers. Jeez! It sure was hard on my back!
